Mother Technologies is continuing to invest in its people as the business experiences sustained growth and builds a strong pipeline of new opportunities.

As part of its ongoing expansion, the company has welcomed Callum Duncan to its engineering team this month, reinforcing its commitment to developing talent and supporting both existing and future clients.

Callum joins the managed service provider (MSP) following his recent graduation from Robert Gordon University, where he earned a degree in Cyber Security and Network Management. During his studies, he developed a solid technical foundation across network monitoring, ethical hacking and cloud technologies. He also gained valuable hands-on experience through a university placement, supporting users in real-world IT environments.

Eager to launch his career in the sector, Callum saw Mother Technologies as the ideal environment to begin his professional journey. The company’s diverse client base and fast-paced working environment are expected to provide ample opportunities for him to build his experience and technical expertise.

Speaking about his new role, Callum said:
“After graduating, I felt ready to take the first step in my career in IT. I joined Mother because it’s a well-established MSP with the opportunity to work across a wide variety of systems and learn from an experienced team. I’m looking forward to gaining hands-on experience, developing my technical skills, and growing as an engineer.”

Bringing graduates into the business has long been a core part of Mother Technologies’ approach. Over the years, the company has supported numerous early-career professionals as they take their first steps into successful careers within the tech industry.

Callum’s appointment reflects the company’s continued focus on nurturing emerging talent while strengthening its technical capabilities to meet growing demand.
