M&D’s Scotland’s Theme Park has appointed John Murphy as Sales & Marketing Manager.
John will be responsible for managing the sales team as well as developing opportunities for the family leisure destination and the onsite four-star Alona Hotel.
John, from Coatbridge, previously worked for leisure operator, Parkdean Resorts, and has held senior sales positions for organisations including Global Radio, Bauer Radio and Guardian Media Group.
Jensen Taylor Connelly, Director, M&D’s Scotland’s Theme Park said, “We are exploring a number of exciting initiatives and constantly looking at bringing new family events and attractions into the Theme Park. Having John on board will help us drive these forward as well as continue to look at ways to enhance our hotel experience.”
Located next to Strathclyde Country Park, M&D’s is one of Scotland’s top visitor attractions. The Theme Park features thrill rides and family rides, as well as a host of activities, for all age groups.
