Mango, a leading international fashion brand, is set to continue its expansion and brand consolidation plan in the UK with 20 new store openings planned for 2025. While the growth strategy encompasses various regions, Scotland emerges as a key focus area for the company’s expansion efforts.
In a significant move, Mango will bolster its presence in Scotland with new points of sale in Glasgow, Dundee and Aberdeen.
This expansion in Scottish cities underscores the brand’s commitment to strengthening its foothold in the northern part of the UK.
Daniel López, Mango’s Director of Expansion and Franchising, stated: “The UK is one of the priority markets for Mango’s international growth.
“Our 2025 expansion plan builds upon the successful store openings in 2024 to advance our capillarity and bring the Mango experience even closer to our customers”.
In addition to its Scottish focus, Mango’s expansion plan includes:
- Six new store openings in London, including a flagship on Oxford Street
- Increased presence in central England, with a store planned for Birmingham
- New locations in Northern Ireland, with openings in Belfast and Craigavon
- The brand’s debut in Cardiff
All new stores, including those in Scotland, will feature the New Med Mediterranean-inspired store concept. This design emphasises sustainability and architectural integration, creating spaces that reflect the brand’s spirit with warm tones, neutral colours, and sustainable materials.
The expansion in Scotland and across the UK is part of Mango’s 4E 2024-2026 Strategic Plan. This initiative aims to promote the company’s unique value proposition, commitment to innovation and sustainability, and boost sales through significant store portfolio expansion.
Mango has been present in the UK since 1999. The company’s recent expansion efforts have seen it grow to over 70 points of sale across the country by the end of 2024. The focus on Scottish cities in the 2025 plan builds upon previous successful openings, including stores in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
This strategic expansion, with a notable emphasis on Scotland, demonstrates Mango’s commitment to enhancing its presence across diverse regions of the UK, bringing its Mediterranean-inspired fashion closer to customers throughout the country.
