GLASGOW-based Malin Group has appointed a new business unit manager.

The marine company is also introducing a new hatches product which will be based at their premises at Westway Business Park on the Clyde.

New manager, Fraser Gunn, spearheads the company’s provision of gas and watertight hatches and doors for fixed and floating offshore platforms and marine craft.

Since taking up the post in February 2020, he has already secured several projects, with the first batch of hatches completing testing and shipped to clients.

Ben Sharples, Malin Group director, said:  “Malin Hatches builds on our existing marine product offering, allowing us to further develop established relationships with shipyards, vessel owners and suppliers of containerised accommodation.

“Fraser is a very welcome addition to the Malin team. He brings two decades of expertise, providing clients in the marine and offshore sectors with bespoke, expertly designed, industry-tested products.”
