Lindsays has appointed a new Senior Associate to its Residential Property team in Dundee.

Lisa Mannion joins the leading independent firm of solicitors and estate agents as its work in the sector across Tayside continues to grow.

A graduate of the University of Dundee, she has spent the past 11 years working in the city – previously with Thorntons – with vast experience across the full spectrum of residential conveyancing work.

On her new role, which she began this week, Lisa said: “I am really pleased to have joined the team and excited to get started.

“Lindsays has a hard-earned reputation for quality service, which I am looking forward to playing my part in. The firm’s people-centred ethos was a real attraction for me.

“This is an area in which I enjoy living and working. I am pleased to have the opportunity to take the next step in my career here.”

While the Dundee property market has its own dynamics, Lisa believes the picture there is similar to the rest of the country in being much more stable than recent years.

“Our market locally is strong,” she added. “It is a far more effective one in which to operate without the extremes we have seen over the past few years.

“Lack of supply to meet demand is still the major issue, though. That does push prices higher in some cases, but not to the levels we saw at the peak of that post-lockdown market.

“In many ways, the market feels like it was pre-covid – before the spike in prices and then the uncertainty which followed the rise in interest rates. That is a good place to be.”

Lisa has been welcomed to her new role by Chris Todd, a Partner and Head of Office at Lindsays in Dundee.

He said: “Lisa is a great addition to our team, bringing with her real knowledge and experience of the property market across Tayside, which will be of real benefit to the buyers and sellers we advise. We are all very much looking forward to working with her.”
