SCOTLANDS leading legal and estate agency, Pacitti Jones, is continuing to expand its operations throughout Scotland with the acquisition of Kilsyth-based estate agency Penworth Properties. The news follows the recent acquisition by Pacitti Jones of law firm Alexander, Jubb & Taylor from its offices in Dennistoun, last month.
Penworth Properties was founded over 10 years ago by local businesswoman Beth Penman. Beth is well known in Kilsyth for bringing a friendly and personal service to the Estate Agency market in the town and surrounding areas including Cumbernauld. When Beth was looking to partner with a local firm to offer a wider variety of services, she spoke to a number of firms but ultimately decided that a merger with Pacitti Jones was the best fit for her company.
Beth Penman, founder of Penworth Properties comments: “Following a successful ten years in business, I have been looking for the right partner to help grow our offering in Kilsyth and Cumbernauld and to provide the core focus of personal service to our loyal customers. With Pacitti Jones’ focus on providing a high quality and personal service from local community focussed branches, I found them to be a perfect fit for both myself and Penworth Properties – and together we can take the business to the next level.”
Pacitti Jones CEO, John O’Malley, said: “Our merger with Penworth Properties is one that we are thrilled to be announcing. As Pacitti Jones actively looks to grow operations in Glasgow and Central West Scotland, we are confident that this merger will be one that mirrors and strengthens our own community values and will mean the continued delivery of a high quality of service.
“With our existing branches and infrastructure in Glasgow, Lenzie, Bishopbriggs and Stirling we are well placed to serve the local communities of Kilsyth and Cumbernauld now and offer a one stop shop for all their home buying, selling and mortgage needs. Beth is joining Pacitti Jones and will continue working from the same premises in Kilsyth which was critical to us to provide the continuity and expertise to the local area.”
Pacitti Jones now has nine branches across Glasgow and Central Scotland and this merger will expand its operations in the Greater Glasgow region as well as growing presence in West Central Scotland.
Kilsyth is a popular town in North Lanarkshire, close to East Dunbartonshire and is popular with families and commuters – with an average house price of £153,659.
By combining forces with a well-respected and long-established local business, Pacitti Jones is confident of serving this growing market of house buyers and house movers. For more information visit www.pacittijones.co.uk.
