Scottish holiday park group, Largo Leisure Holidays, is celebrating Scotland making the football World Cup Finals for the first time in 28 years, with a fitting tribute to the team by renaming some of their accommodation to show their support.

In a move that’s bound to score with fans, Largo Leisure is renaming 15 lodges, caravans and cabins across six of its Scottish holiday parks, with the surnames of some of the country’s top football stars for June and July.

Largo Leisure, who are deeply proud of their Scottish heritage, hope to bring World Cup fever to its parks and get their guests and park teams involved in the summer celebration of football.

Group Operations Director for Largo Leisure, Alison Watson, said: “This is the biggest tournament in football and for Scotland to be there representing this beautiful part of the world is fantastic not only for football for also for the wider tourism sector in Scotland.

“We wanted to show what this means to us and all our teams on park by getting behind the lads and doing something a bit different to mark this momentous occasion. We want people who choose to holiday in Scotland during the World Cup to get involved and what better way than to rename some of our holiday homes for a short time after the footballing heroes representing us in the USA. It’s a bit of fun but also a way to support our national team.”

Every park will also be dressed for the occasion, with bunting, flags and decorations along with football themed family-friendly activities, including colouring sheets, quizzes, word searches and even the chance for little ones to design their own dream football kit.

The player themed accommodation will be available for people book during June and some of July: Scottish Squad Stays | Largo Leisure Holidays
