KENJI will make its Scottish debut at Silverburn, with the store officially opening on Saturday 13 December. The brand, known for its colourful and character-led designs, has chosen the out-of-town Glasgow shopping destination as its first base north of the Border.

The new store will stock a broad range of products, including homeware, stationery, fashion accessories, tech gadgets and Japanese snacks, positioned as fun and affordable gifting options in the run-up to Christmas. Shoppers will also be able to explore KENJI’s signature plush toys and character merchandise, which have helped build its following across the UK.

KENJI is pairing its physical retail offer with an interactive digital layer delivered through the KENJI app. Customers will be able to adopt virtual characters, explore digital fashion and connect socially online, creating a blended physical–virtual experience designed to appeal particularly to younger visitors and families.

Silverburn will mark the opening with a family-friendly launch event on Saturday 13 December, featuring appearances by KENJI’s mascots, an in-store DJ and exclusive opening-day treats and offers. Centre bosses are positioning the arrival as a festive highlight, with the brand’s plushies, stationery and gadgets expected to be popular Christmas gifts.

Silverburn general manager David Pierotti described KENJI’s arrival as an important milestone for the centre’s 2025 line-up, highlighting the brand’s eclectic product mix and digital features as adding “a fresh dimension” to its retail offer. KENJI UK managing director Eddie Shepherd said Silverburn’s focus on memorable guest experiences made it the “ideal first Scottish home” for the brand, and encouraged shoppers to immerse themselves in the “colourful, curious world of KENJI” at the opening.
