Graham Marjoribanks, who has more than 15 years of experience in audit and financial services across the UK and in Canada, joins as partner and will be based out of the firm’s Glasgow office.

Originally from Falkirk, Graham was most recently Head of Audit & Assurance for BDO Canada’s Greater Toronto area, leading a team of about 400 people.

“Changing regulatory requirements and the introduction of new technologies are transforming audit and creating new opportunities for ambitious and highly respected firms such as Johnston Carmichael.

“I am looking forward to leading the team as we continue to shape and enhance our audit services as they become capable of delivering increasing insight and detail to our clients.”

Andrew Walker, CEO, Johnston Carmichael, said: “Graham is a highly experienced audit professional with a strong sense of purpose and leadership. His drive and ambition make him an excellent candidate to lead our audit team as we continue to develop our offering and build on our success.”
