HOBBYCRAFT Inverness is enhancing the in-store shopping experience with a brand new look and feel, including a new and improved hobbies and projects area. The store has also refreshed its Haberdashery, Knit & Stitch, and digital crafting areas as well as an optimised product layout making it easier for customers to browse the retailer’s wide collection of craft tools and accessories.
To celebrate the completion of the in-store renovation, Hobbycraft Inverness will be hosting a series of free Kids Workshops for local families to enjoy. A Kids’ Dancer Keyring Workshop will be available across the weekends from Saturday 7th September – Sunday 22nd September, with 60 free spaces up for grabs, which can be booked via Class Bento.
Hobbycraft Club members who have signed up by Thursday 5th September, will benefit from £5 of any purchase of £15 or over between Saturday 7th to Saturday 21st September exclusively at Hobbycraft Inverness. The Club, which is accessible via the Hobbycraft App, will provide all customers with an exclusive code which can be used online or in the Inverness store.
The store has been under renovation for the last several weeks to provide customers with an improved shopping experience. The enhanced layout aims to inspire local crafters in the area to get more creative with a wide array of new and improved product ranges and dedicated craft spaces for customers to use during their visit.
Customers can be introduced to the world of craft with the store’s new and improved crafting areas on the mezzanine, including a digital crafting space. Whether they are looking to take their papercrafts to the next level or create personalised clothing and home décor with vinyl, sublimation, or precision cutting, this space allows customers to try their hand at Hobbycraft’s huge collection of digital crafting tools and accessories.
Customers can also try out the refreshed Haberdashery, Knit and Stitch Area, a dedicated sewing space in store with a demo table and wide range of patterns, fabrics, and trimmings, alongside an extended range of sewing machines that customers can test drive before purchasing. The area features over 800 ranges of fabric, sewing machines to suit every budget and skill level, sewing essentials, trims, ribbons, and buttons. It is centred around an enlarged cutting table which doubles as a demonstration and consultation area for customers, and expert colleagues will be on hand to support customers with all their sewing enquiries.
Throughout the year, these craft spaces will host a variety of craft workshops, designed to give everyone the opportunity to try out the enhanced craft areas and master a new craft or refine a long-time favourite. Prices start at £5 and can be booked online.
