A new international partnership between learning and development specialist Insights and Bahrain-based Namaa X is set to strengthen leadership capability and organisational performance across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), following a delegation visit to Scotland.
The collaboration was formalised during a recent visit to Insights’ global headquarters in Dundee, bringing together partners from Bahrain, Oman and the UK. The initiative aims to create new pathways for leadership development, organisational capability and regional collaboration, combining local expertise with globally recognised learning frameworks.
Insights, which celebrates 35 years in business this year, operates in more than 100 countries and has supported over 11 million people worldwide. Its flagship Insights Discovery learning ecosystem – available in 36 languages – is delivered through a global network of nearly 4,000 partners and 20,000 accredited practitioners. The company counts 48 per cent of Fortune 500 organisations among its clients.
Through the partnership, Insights will work alongside Namaa X, a growth and transformation platform serving organisations across the GCC. Namaa X specialises in designing tailored programmes to strengthen leadership capability, workforce development and innovation, supporting businesses as they navigate regional growth and transformation.
The partnership brings together Namaa X’s established regional relationships with Insights’ expertise in self-awareness, communication, leadership and team effectiveness. Both organisations say the collaboration is designed to deliver measurable impact for organisations operating across the Middle East.
Fiona Logan, Chief Executive Officer of Insights, said the agreement reflects the organisation’s continued global ambitions. “It was a pleasure to welcome Namaa X to our global head office in Dundee, and to formalise our partnership that will extend our presence in one of the world’s fastest-growing markets,” she said.
“It’s our ambition to continue to scale globally while building a world where people truly understand themselves and others. This partnership with Namaa X will extend the opportunity for organisations across the GCC to benefit from purposeful impact through learning and development.”
Namaa X was founded by Chief Executive Officer Dr Dave Mackay, former Professor of Strategy and Digital Transformation at Strathclyde Business School, alongside Chief Operating Officer Andy Mackay and Chief Growth Officer Elvin Joseph.
In Case You Missed It:
Dr Mackay described the collaboration as a key step in the company’s regional strategy. “The Scotland delegation marks an important milestone in Namaa X’s regional growth strategy and in shaping a platform that is built around relevance, capability and measurable impact for organisations across the GCC,” he said.
“Our partnership with Insights is central to this approach, bringing globally recognised expertise in self-awareness, communication, leadership and team effectiveness into an ecosystem that also includes trusted regional institutions and leading academic partners.”
He added that the collaboration will support organisations in strengthening leadership, improving team performance and driving long-term transformation across the region.
