The co-founders of Scotland’s leading influencer agency returned to Glasgow Caledonian University to host a business masterclass and one-to-one mentoring with budding entrepreneurs.
Kirsten Cameron and Amy Moore, stars of the BAFTA Scotland‑winning BBC Scotland series The Agency: Unfiltered, shared practical insights into building a successful business during a workshop at the University’s Entrepreneurial Hub.
The GCU graduates discussed the challenges they faced setting up their agency, Aquarius Creative, and how they became a trusted partner for some of the UK’s biggest brands.
Aquarius Creative now turns over more than £1 million and represents influencers with a combined reach of five million followers.
More than 50 entrepreneurs attended the masterclass, and Kirsten and Amy held one-to-one meetings with four businesses.
In Case You Missed It:
Professor Mairi Watson, Principal and Vice-Chancellor of GCU, said: “It was a pleasure to welcome Kirsten and Amy back to GCU. They are an excellent example of how our graduates become industry leaders, and they brought the same drive and ambition that have powered their success into an engaging masterclass.
“Their continued support for our students and our Entrepreneurial Hub is what makes our GCU alumni network so invaluable. I look forward to watching their continued success as they grow their own businesses and support the future success of our incredible students.”
Members of GCU’s Entrepreneurial Hub, which is open to students, staff, and alumni, can access dedicated workspaces, meeting rooms, and the opportunity to secure seed funding.
