A SENIOR solicitor at Thorntons in Edinburgh has received an accreditation from the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), further bolstering the firm’s specialist credentials.

Michaela Dougan has been recognised with litigator status and joins fellow Edinburgh based colleague Lauren Fettes as well as Richard Poole and Gary Mannion from Thorntons’ Dundee operation, all with an APIL accreditation as senior litigators.

Michaela specialises in pursuer claims covering a variety of personal injury and clinical negligence matters. She is well versed in pursuing claims arising from accidents at work or on the road, as well as industrial disease claims and slip/trip accidents.
