TODAY, HRH The Princess Royal, serving as the President of the UK Fashion and Textile Association, graced the premises of Advanced Clothing Solutions (ACS).
As Europe’s largest circular and sustainable fashion hub, ACS welcomed Her Royal Highness for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of its 200,000 sq. ft state-of-the art operation situated in Eurocentral, Scotland.
Founded in 1997, the company which employs a team of 150, enables fashion brands and retailers to join the circular economy.
ACS collaborates with fashion brands and retailers to usher in a circular format, offering to streamline rental, subscription, and resale models to minimise waste and capture value from existing inventory. ACS collaborates directly and indirectly with various fashion brands and retailers, providing circular fashion rental, subscription, and resale capabilities. Notable partners include The North Face, Pangaia, Nudie Jeans, Moss, LK Bennett, CaaStle, Zoa, HEWI and Reflaunt, each contributing to the evolution of the sustainable fashion landscape.
Andrew Rough, CEO of ACS expressed pride in hosting The Princess Royal, stating, “Our environmental commitment, skilled workforce, and community engagement is central to our mission of the last 25 years – to cultivate a more sustainable fashion industry not just here in the UK but globally.
Anthony Burns, COO of ACS, echoed this sentiment, stating, “Focusing on people and planet is the cornerstone of building a circular future for the fashion industry.
