HISTORIC Environment Scotland has partnered with Edinburgh Gin to bring guests a three course menu inspired by the newly launched Edinburgh Castle Gin.
After telling the world about the newest tipple to be on sale at the castle in May, Scotland’s most iconic landmark has created a brand-new three course menu exclusively for corporate events and wedding receptions inspired by the blend of botanicals found within Edinburgh Castle Gin.
The new Edinburgh Castle Gin Menu, prepared by Historic Environment Scotland’s catering partner, Benugo, features artisan produce from land and sea, creating the perfect Scottish banquet meal. From a cumin spiced North Sea cod served with an Edinburgh Gin Pomegranate and Rose Liqueur salsa, to an Edinburgh Gin Rhubarb panna cotta, the Edinburgh Castle Gin menu is available from 1September 2021 and served exclusively in the castle’s Queen Anne room for evening events.
Historic Environment Scotland has also announced two new cocktails to complement the menu and bring a glamorous twist to proceedings, including The Crown Jewel and On The Rocks With A Twist. All drinks packages are completely bespoke to individual requirements.
Suzanne Davies, Event Sales and Catering Manager, Historic Environment Scotland, added: “After the successful launch of the Edinburgh Castle Gin in May, we are now introducing an exclusive Edinburgh Gin Menu for our guests attending wedding receptions and corporate events at one of our most iconic venues, Edinburgh Castle. Our long-standing catering partner, Benugo, has created a menu that explores the broad range of flavours within our Edinburgh Castle Gin and other Edinburgh Gin flavours – and we love it!”
Jack Verth, Benugo Events Sales Manager at Edinburgh Castle commented: “With larger weddings and corporate events set to resume in Scotland soon, we wanted to introduce a brand-new exciting menu for our guests dining at Edinburgh Castle. Taking inspiration from the recent Edinburgh Gin partnership, the menu showcases the very best of artisan Scottish produce and is the perfect banquet meal for weddings and corporate events.”
Prices start from £80 per person, and can be booked for events from 1September 2021 onwards. Social distancing rules will be adhered to and numbers will comply with limits for events set by Scottish Government.
