Hardies appoints Building Surveyor in Inverness office

HARDIES Property & Construction Consultants has appointed Chartered Building Surveyor Carla Walker as an Associate in its Inverness office.

A former pupil of Dingwall Academy, Walker graduated from The Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen with an Honours Degree in Building Surveying and has a wealth of experience encompassing periods of working with major surveying firms in Scotland.

On joining Hardies, Walker said: “This appointment represents a significant development in my career. I’m delighted to return to the north of Scotland and join a multi-disciplined practise that continues to expand its operations across Scotland. I am pleased to be given an opportunity to play a part in serving clients throughout Inverness, Moray and the Highlands and Islands.”

Walker has extensive experience in a wide variety of building surveying disciplines, including pre-acquisition inspections, landlord/tenant lease and property advice, defect analysis, dilapidations, condition surveys/schedules of condition; insurance reinstatement cost assessments, planned maintenance and cost advice, principal designer and contract administration.
