GREENHOUS Group, one of the UK’s largest automotive groups, has purchased a new 14 -acre site in Livingston from online car retailer, Cazoo, for an undisclosed fee.

With a history dating back over 100-years, Greenhous Group supply more than 60,000 vehicles per year across the passenger vehicle, light commercial and large commercial vehicle sectors.

The Livingston site purchase represents another step in Greenhous Group’s ambitious expansion and acquisition plans. Ashley Passant, Managing Director Greenhous Group Car & Van Operations, explained: “We are currently in the middle of an exciting growth journey, with an ever-increasing number of customers choosing Greenhous as their fleet service provider of choice; especially in the EV sector. The new location is the first step back into the world of vehicle refurbishment and will provide us with a strategic base in the North of the UK and we expect to refurbish up to 20,000 vehicles per year through this location.”

In addition to the cost of acquisition, Greenhous will be investing a further £1m in refurbishing the site and installation of a solar infrastructure in order to ensure the site aligns with the group’s environmental strategy.
