Greener Energy Group has today announced that it has officially been accredited as Scotland’s only Octopus Trusted Installer, further cementing its position as a leader in renewable energy solutions.

This milestone accreditation strengthens the Group’s partnership with Octopus Energy, the UK’s fastest-growing renewable energy supplier and one of Europe’s largest investors in solar and wind generation. With over 7 million customers, Octopus has built a reputation for innovation, customer service, and driving forward the green energy transition.

Through this accreditation, Scottish households will now have exclusive access to the brand’s revolutionary Cosy Heat Pumps, installed by Greener Energy Group’s expert team.

The Cosy Heat Pump represents a step-change in home heating. By extracting ambient heat from the air and amplifying it using a small amount of electricity, it provides a greener, safer, and more efficient alternative to traditional gas boilers. Several times more energy-efficient than fossil fuel systems, the Cosy is a crucial technology in helping the UK move towards a low-carbon future.

For customers, this means more than just access to cutting-edge technology—it represents the assurance of installation and aftercare from one of Scotland’s most trusted names in renewables. With over 30 years of combined experience and over 6000 completed installations, Greener Energy Group is committed to helping households reduce energy bills, tackle fuel poverty, and contribute to a more sustainable future.

Peter Chalmers, CEO of Greener Energy Group, said:
“Becoming Scotland’s only Octopus Trusted Installer is a huge achievement for our team and a major win for households across the country. Octopus Energy is one of the most innovative names in the sector, and this accreditation allows us to bring their world-class technology to Scottish homes with the care, expertise, and aftercare that Greener Energy Group is known for. Together, we’re helping families lower their bills and take real action towards net zero.”

Jim Bennett, Low Carbon Director at Octopus Energy, said:
“At Octopus, we want to make the green transition simple and affordable for households. That’s why it’s so important we work with trusted local partners who share our commitment to quality, care, and innovation. Greener Energy Group is leading the way in Scotland thanks to their expertise, their proven track record, and their focus on putting customers first. Together, we’re excited to bring the benefits of Cosy Heat Pumps to homes across Scotland.”

The news comes at a pivotal moment for Scotland’s energy transition, as the country works towards its ambitious climate goals. Greener Energy Group’s trusted partnership with Octopus Energy underscores its ongoing mission to make sustainable living accessible, affordable, and achievable for all.
