FOLLOWING the announcement that Ken Bruce is joining Greatest Hits Radio Scotland, the full presenter schedule has now been finalised, as the station readies its launch as Scotland’s first ever nationwide commercial radio station on 3rd April.
As previously announced, Ewen Cameron and Cat Harvey will host their hugely popular Breakfast show from 6-10am each weekday morning, with Scottish broadcasting legend Ken Bruce bringing his all-new mid-morning show and PopMaster to the network from 10am-1pm each Monday to Friday.
Then from 1-4pm, Stuart Webster will take over before the station cruises into Drivetime with another radio legend, Simon Mayo. Jackie Brambles then brings exclusive chats with some of the biggest names from music and film from 7-10pm.
The weekend schedule, due to be published soon, will also include a broad range of shows, including Fred MacAulay, Boogie Nights with Boogie, The Album Show with Simon Mayo, The Smash Hits Chart Show and Arlene Stuart.
Greatest Hits Radio in the new name for Clyde 2, Forth 2, MFR 2, Northsound 2, Tay 2, West Sound in Ayrshire and West Sound in Dumfries & Galloway, and just announced today, Radio Borders shall also be joining the family in Scotland. It brings the total number of stations joining Scotland’s first ever nationwide commercial radio station to eight. Listeners across the region able to access the station through all the existing channels – AM / FM, online, via the App and on their Smart Speakers.
