“Being Scottish myself, and having spent the vast majority of my career in Scotland, I’m passionate about the potential of the Scottish market and the myriad opportunities which exist to partner with organisations as they navigate the impacts of the COVID19 pandemic and adapt to a post-Brexit world. The tax landscape is constantly evolving, with both ever changing legislation and a much increased focus on risk and governance, all of which impact companies across a spectrum of industries. I’m excited to bring my experience of working across all of these areas to Grant Thornton.”

Andrew Howie, practice leader for Grant Thornton in Scotland, commented: “It’s a pleasure to welcome Jill to the firm. Her appointment reflects our commitment to growing our tax offering and ensuring we continue to provide the best quality service to our clients. “With an existing reputation and network within the industry and a shared passion to partner with dynamic businesses she will be a valuable asset to Grant Thornton.”
