PICK Everard, the property, construction and infrastructure consultancy, has appointed a new director and invested in larger premises in Glasgow.
Following a move to be closer to key clients and Glasgow’s city centre, the new 4,500 sq ft space – located at The Beacon, St Vincent Street – will accommodate more than 35 members of staff, while also offering room for further expansion.
“We’ve had a presence in Glasgow for more than 20 years and the new office is in our preferred location, in the heart of the city centre,” said Euan Matheson, regional director at Pick Everard.
“Our new base, in the core of the central business district, is close to both mainline train stations, making it more accessible and convenient for both staff and clients.
“Since we opened our first office in the city, we’ve worked with a number of significant clients including: Strathclyde University, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar and East Dunbartonshire Council. These are clients we still work with today.
“I’m delighted that our new office reflects our uniquely collaborative culture, complementing our extensive experience and strong reputation. This investment also reinforces our commitment to Glasgow and the wider Scottish property and infrastructure markets.

Pick Everard has also welcomed David Murray, director of building services, to its new Glasgow office, who joins the consultancy with more than 30 years’ experience in the industry.
David said: “I have worked across Scotland for most of my career, predominantly working in Glasgow, both ‘on the tools’ and as a consulting engineer. I recognised the opportunities this multi-disciplinary consultancy presents and, having worked with Pick Everard in the past, knew that it was a firm I wanted to work for.
