McAllister Litho Glasgow celebrates positive impact of apprentices to business

GLASGOW printer McAllister Litho Glasgow (MLG) is proud to celebrate the positive impact that apprentices and work-based learning make to Scotland.

As a company that values investing in its employees, MLG is excited to share the success stories of current apprentices, Kyle Miller (21) and Jordan Hutchison (24).

Kyle, who works in repro and wide format, said: “My apprenticeship at MLG has given me the opportunity to learn a trade and gain hands-on experience while earning a wage. It’s allowed me to develop my skills and given me the confidence to progress in my career.”

Jordan, who works in print finishing, said: “The apprenticeship programme at MLG has allowed me to work with experienced professionals and learn from their expertise. It’s given me a solid foundation to build my career on and I’m grateful for the opportunities it’s provided.”

MLG is committed to providing apprentices with the resources they need to succeed and believes that investing in the next generation of skilled workers benefits not only our company but the entire community.

Managing Director, Janette McAllister added: “At McAllister Litho Glasgow, we pride ourselves on nurturing the talents of our apprentices. We believe that investing in the next generation of print professionals is not just good for our company, but for the industry as a whole. We’re thrilled to see our apprentices excel and grow into skilled print specialists who are just as passionate about their craft as we are.

“We’re proud to support Scottish Apprenticeship Week and look forward to seeing the positive impact apprenticeships will continue to have on Scotland.”
