A Glasgow-based pizza manufacturer is set to create 17 new jobs as part of a significant expansion of its operations.

Dough It Yourself, which produces fresh pizza kits and supplies major retailers, has announced the recruitment drive following a period of strong growth. The company, founded in 2017, has seen demand for its products soar, prompting investment in new equipment and increased production capacity.

Managing director Paul McGlynn said: “We’re delighted to be able to create new jobs in Glasgow and continue our growth journey.

“The support from our customers and retailers has been fantastic, and this expansion will help us meet increasing demand for our pizza kits across Scotland and beyond.”

The expansion will see Dough It Yourself increase its workforce by nearly 50%, with positions available in production, packaging, and logistics. The company’s products are now stocked in several major supermarket chains, and it has plans to further extend its reach in the coming months.

McGlynn added: “Our focus has always been on quality and convenience, and we’re proud to be flying the flag for Scottish food manufacturing. We look forward to welcoming new team members as we enter this exciting new phase.”

The move has been welcomed by local business leaders, who highlighted the positive impact on employment and the wider Glasgow economy.
