Glasgow-based people and culture consultancy Connect Three is continuing its impressive trajectory of growth with the announcement of new senior appointments, increased turnover and the first Inspiring Workplaces global certification of its kind.
Established in 2014 by Colin Lamb, Connect Three works with clients across the public, private and third sectors, focussing on three core areas of Leadership & Learning, Culture & Performance and Growth & Innovation.
The business has experienced 20% growth in the past year, with further 25% growth planned for next year. During a recent restructure, Connect Three has created three new senior roles including internal promotions for several staff. During the last 2 years, both Connect Three’s core and wider teams have grown by 30%.
Emma Sinclair joins Connect Three as Head of Leadership & Learning, bringing to the business over 25 years of expertise in driving organisational growth, leadership capability and cultural transformation. Grant Jones joins as the new Head of Operations, having managed projects and operations for over 10 years in diverse and complex organisations including the military, biologics and government R&D. A leader in financial services and consulting for over 30 years, Kevin Coyle joins the Connect Three Board as Non-Exec Director.
Connect Three’s key clients include Highland Spring Group, Skyscanner, NHS24, Zero Waste Scotland, C&C Tennents, Bella & Duke, DF Concerts, Scottish Enterprise, HeliosX, Watts Group, Scottish Government and Social Bite.
Colin Lamb, founder and Chief Executive of Connect Three said; “As the world of work continues to evolve at lightning speed, I’m genuinely excited to bring in some fantastic talent to help us keep pushing forward. This is a crucial moment in our growth story, and I believe the best way to stay ahead is by leveraging the strengths of a talented team. Bringing Emma and Grant on board – with their deep expertise in L&D and project management – means I can step back from the bottleneck as the founder and focus on the bigger picture. Kevin’s impact as Non-Exec Director will be pivotal, helping us strengthen our vision and continue to grow with purpose, authenticity, and real connection. I couldn’t be more thrilled about what’s ahead!”
In a further boost, following a #1 Inspiring Workplaces Award in UK and Ireland earlier this year, Connect Three has become the first business globally to achieve the Platinum level of certification in the Inspiring Workplaces Group’s Certified PeopleFirst™ Programme.
Certified PeopleFirst™ is a globally accessible workplace culture certification built on direct employee insight. It focuses on three core areas; Belief: confidence in leadership and purpose, Belonging: feeling included, valued, connected and safe and Future Confidence: trust in the organisation’s direction, including its readiness for change and AI.
Matt Manners, CEO & Founder of The Inspiring Workplaces Group, said:
In Case You Missed It:
“This is a proud moment for Scotland and a significant milestone for Connect Three, becoming the first Scottish based organisation to be Certified PeopleFirst™. Doing so with an exceptional score that earned Platinum status is a remarkable achievement. Connect Three has demonstrated what it means to truly put people first, where belief, belonging and trust in the future are part of everyday practice. They’ve set a strong example for others around the world to follow.”
Colin Lamb concluded; “We are firmly on our way to achieving our vision of becoming a sustainable £5 million business, biting at the ankles of some of the bigger players in our industry. We are already starting to compete in a bigger pond, but we do so with values led leadership and ensuring we deliver impact through our work.”
