Glasgow Caledonian University is offering support to small business owners affected by the Union Street fire.
The University’s Entrepreneurial Hub will provide free meeting room space and facilitate connections to our partners and alumni community, to help firms recover and make alternative plans.
The Hub offers dedicated workspaces, meeting rooms, support and guidance.
Small business owners who sign up can also take part in Lunch and Learn Workshops and Entrepreneurs in Residence Masterclasses.
Reports suggest more than 30 small businesses have been affected by the fire, which devasted a four-storey B-listed building on Sunday.
Jillian Watt, Director of Advancement and Communications at Glasgow Caledonian University, said: “Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the devastating fire near Glasgow Central. This has been a deeply distressing time for local businesses, residents, and the wider community, and we’re thinking of all those whose lives and livelihoods have been disrupted.
