THERE WILL be a chance to meet other property people, enjoy networking and hear from some experts in the industry at Auction House Scotland’s Property Masterclass next month. The event takes place from 7pm – 9.30pm on Tuesday 16th May at the Radisson RED hotel, 25 Tunnel Street, Glasgow.
Hosted by property auctioneer Auction House Scotland, the Masterclass event combines expert talks covering a range of areas in the property sector alongside some valuable networking, and it’s completely free to attend.
Guest speakers attending the May Masterclass include John Blackwood, CEO of the Scottish Association of Landlords (SAL), who will be joining the event virtually to share the latest news and updates from SAL and provide an insight into the association’s latest activities aimed at supporting landlords in the private rented sector.
Having worked in the private rented sector for nearly 30 years, John is a proud representative of the interests of private landlords and letting agents in Scotland, as well as being a campaigner for a well-functioning housing sector.
Also speaking at the event is Adam Al-khateb, founder of AAL Property Solutions, a company that offers a variety of property services to landlords, homeowners and letting agents, from Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) to 3D Virtual Property Tours and Floor Plans, with sustainability at the heart of the business. Adam will be presenting on sustainability in residential property and sharing useful tips for property owners to improve energy efficiency in their homes.
Fife-based property developer, Linda Martin, completes the trio of speakers at the event. She will be providing an insight into her career in the sector, sharing examples of some of the interesting residential projects she has worked on.
John Loudon of Auction House Scotland and host of the event, commented:
“There’s a lot of change happening in the property sector right now, with a lot of challenges for investors and landlords to navigate, which is why our event provides an increasingly valuable opportunity for those in the industry to get together to share their experiences and concerns, whilst also gaining some useful insights and advice from property experts.”
“We’re delighted to be once again joined by John Blackwood, CEO of the Scottish Association of Landlords, to get the latest update from the association on how they are trying to tackle the growing number of issues facing landlords in Scotland’s private rented sector.”
“Regardless of their level of experience or background in property, we welcome anyone along to our Masterclass. If you’re just starting out in the sector, our event really is a great place to make some initial connections and learn from more experienced property people. And whilst there are a variety of property networking events that take place in Glasgow, Auction House Scotland’s is the only free-of-charge event of its kind.”
Tickets for the event are limited, so anyone interested in attending is urged to secure theirs today via Eventbrite:
