THE SCOTTISH Tourism Alliance (STA), the leading representative body for Scotland’s tourism industry has announced details of a free business finance advisory seminar to be held at the SEC alongside this year’s ScotHot and In Drinks trade shows.

The STA has brought together some leading experts from the finance, legal and accountancy sectors to provide specialist advice and suggested solutions for tourism and hospitality business owners and senior managers responsible for the business finance looking to navigate their way through the coming months and or wanting to upgrade and innovate in their business.

The seminar will take place on Wednesday 8th March from 1400 – 1630 at Glasgow’s SEC and is aimed at business owners and senior managers leading the delivery and development of products and services and/or those who are responsible for business finance, in addition to those starting out on their entrepreneurial journey.

With the many challenges of cost pressures which businesses are facing, coupled with the need and desire to stay competitive, profitable and grow, many business owners and key decision makers are looking for trusted support and advice to guide them through this unprecedented period of challenge.

The STA has produced the seminar in partnership with Grant Thornton, Natwest Group, DWF Group and the Cumberland Building Society, bringing together top-level expertise from Scotland’s finance, accountancy and legal sectors.

The session will deliver practical advice on how to deal with cash pressure, stabilise businesses and how to survive, adapt and grow. Delegates will also hear from those who have successfully restructured their businesses, accessing funding and support to enable innovation in developing their assets when they thought it would not be possible to do so.

Marc Crothall, Chief Executive of the Scottish Tourism Alliance, commented:

“This is a must-attend session for business owners and finance professionals tasked with navigating the challenging road to recovery, particularly within the context of the cost-of-living and cost of doing business crises.  It is also particularly relevant for those looking to launch a new business, or indeed grow, innovate and develop their existing proposition, backed by solid, trusted advice from some of Scotland’s leading finance and legal experts.”

Tickets are FREE and include access to the ScotHot conference and VIP lounge.   To reserve your place, please visit the Events section on the Scottish Tourism Alliance website.
