Former Crown Office lawyer joins CMS Scottish Disputes Resolution team

INTERNATIONAL law firm CMS has announced the appointment of a leading disputes specialist to its team in Scotland.

Sally Clark joins the firm’s highly-regarded Disputes Resolution practice in the senior role of Of Counsel to support its UK and international client base.

Sally joins from the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS), where she developed extensive experience in a wide range of corporate and financial crime cases including fraud, money laundering, bribery and corruption and regulatory offences. Her work has included a number of high-profile, large and complex investigations and prosecutions, as well as key civil recovery cases.

In her new role, Sally will work closely with Edinburgh-based Disputes Resolution Partner Colin Hutton and with the wider UK-wide corporate and financial crime team.

Mr Hutton said: “We are delighted to welcome Sally to the Scottish Disputes Resolution Team. She brings an unrivalled level of expertise and hands-on experience from her time with COPFS which is greatly valued and in high demand within the Scottish market.”
