Focus Financial has announced the appointment of professional footballer Peter Pawlett as a Trainee Financial Adviser, marking a significant new chapter in his career beyond the pitch.
Best known for his long-standing association with Aberdeen FC, where he spent more than a decade after joining at just 16, Pawlett currently plays for Peterhead FC. He will now take on a full-time role with Focus Financial while completing the firm’s structured adviser development programme.
The move reflects Pawlett’s growing interest in financial planning, particularly through his experience in property investment. In his new role, he will work towards gaining professional qualifications while supporting clients across a range of financial planning needs.
Focus Financial believes Pawlett’s background in professional sport has equipped him with the discipline and commitment required to succeed in the financial services sector.
