A Scottish hospitality and leisure group will be swinging open the doors to a new Ayrshire coast hotel spa on Tuesday 17 February, following a major £3million development at The Waterside Hotel.
Owned and operated by SimpsInns, the new sea-view spa at The Waterside Hotel in West Kilbride is set to become one of Scotland’s most exciting leisure and tourism developments for 2026, with bookings now open.
Once complete in February, Si! Spa at The Waterside will be home to spa facilities including six treatment rooms, a four-person Rasul experience, sauna and steam room, experience showers, as well as spa lounge and relaxation area. The spa will also overlook the beach and will have a strong focus on the outdoors with a large hydro pool, outdoor shower, cold bucket, a sheltered firepit and seating area.
Si! Spa will offer an extensive menu of individual treatments using luxury ESPA and ishga products, alongside a carefully curated selection of spa days and indulgent spa breaks designed for total relaxation.
Si! Spa experiences start from just £40 per person, including full use of the spa facilities.
For those seeking the ultimate indulgence, Si! Spa at The Waterside will offer bespoke spa breaks, allowing guests to build their own experience by selecting treatments and add-ons such as afternoon tea, light bites or dinner in the hotel’s restaurant. Seasonal spa break packages will also be available from £110 per person, Sunday to Thursday, including an overnight stay, full use of the spa facilities, a 25-minute treatment, spa afternoon tea, and the use of fluffy robes and towels throughout the stay.
Located just 40 minutes from Glasgow, the family-run Waterside Hotel enjoys commanding sea views over the Firth of Clyde towards the Isle of Arran. The new spa is part of The Waterside’s redevelopment which included the addition of 17 new sea view bedrooms which opened in October, taking the hotel to 40 bedrooms.
