Edwards Engineering makes senior operations appointment

EDWARDS Engineering, the leading mechanical and process engineering business based in Perth, has announced the appointment of Neil Scott as Operations Director.

Ben Carter, Chief Executive, Edwards Engineering, said: “We’re starting 2021 in a strong position despite the challenges faced due to the pandemic, having completed a number of high-profile projects in 2020 for clients in key industries.   This positive start is further cemented by Neil joining us as Operations Director.  We’re thrilled to have someone with Neil’s experience and leadership join us at an exciting stage in our growth. His familiarity with highly regulated operating and production environments will help us to continue our journey of performance improvement, operational efficiencies and delivery of high quality, technically complex engineering solutions to our customers.”

Neil was born and raised in Scotland and his career spans both UK and international markets.  A chartered engineer, he has an excellent track record of delivering customer and operational improvement and driving project performance in a number of complex project engineering, manufacturing and service businesses.  He is joining Edwards to head up both external project delivery and internal fabrication operations for its wide range of customers.
