Edinburgh Park building, 4/5 Lochside Way has been sold in a £6.55m deal to Northwood Regional UK.  The building presents 42,000 sq ft of grade A property and is currently let to Diageo until November 2019.

The sale, managed by independent property consultants, CuthbertWhite who worked for the vendor, represents a major deal on an attractive property in a superb location. Northwood Regional UK was advised by Savills, while Brodies LLP represented the vendor and Dickson Minto advised the buyer.

Stephen Kay of CuthbertWhite comments: “This building is probably one of the most connected within Edinburgh Park, being adjacent to Edinburgh Park Central tram station and will benefit from Northwood’s ability to reposition the asset following Diageo’s departure.” The Edinburgh office market continues to be challenged by a shortage of Grade A office space.

CuthbertWhite was established in July 2011 to provide a true, independent real estate advisory business with an absolute commitment to client service and out-performance. The company has transacted in excess of £90m of Edinburgh office investments over the last 18 months, including Apex 123, Haymarket, Greenside, Blenheim Place and 9-10 St. Andrew Square.
