easyJet, Scotland’s largest airline, has announced the launch of a new direct service from Aberdeen International Airport to Paris Charles de Gaulle, marking a significant boost in connectivity for the North East of Scotland.

The twice-weekly flights, operating every Monday and Friday from 27 October 2025, will be the only direct link between Aberdeen and France, restoring a vital route that has been absent since the early days of the Covid pandemic.

The new service is set to benefit both business and leisure travellers, with flight times designed to accommodate romantic weekend breaks and family adventures to Disneyland Paris.

The outbound flight departs Aberdeen at 1:15pm, arriving in Paris at 4:10pm, with return services also operating on Mondays and Fridays.

Chris Tibbett, Aero Director at AGS Airports, expressed enthusiasm for the long-awaited route: “This is a connection the city and wider region have been calling for, and we’re proud to have worked closely with easyJet to make it a reality.

“The new service will provide vital links for both business and leisure travellers, with timings perfect for that romantic weekend city break or Disneyland Paris adventure.”

Paris now becomes easyJet’s fourth destination from Aberdeen, joining existing routes to London Gatwick, London Luton, and Geneva. The addition is part of easyJet’s broader expansion, which includes over 80 routes across Europe and North Africa from its Scottish network.

Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, highlighted the airline’s commitment to providing more travel options: “We’re delighted to be offering yet another fantastic new route, providing even more choice for our customers at Aberdeen.

“With flights and holidays now available on even more routes for the winter, we’re providing greater direct connectivity for customers and offering great value for money, always aiming to make travel easy.”

Local leaders and business representatives have welcomed the move, emphasising its importance for tourism and the energy sector.

Chris Foy, CEO of VisitAberdeenshire, noted that the restored connection enhances the region’s appeal as a destination, while Russell Borthwick, a prominent business voice, called on companies and individuals to demonstrate demand in hopes of increasing flight frequency in the future.

Tickets for the new Aberdeen–Paris service are available to book now via easyJet’s website and mobile app, with fares starting from £30.99 one way.

The service will run until the first week of January 2026, pause briefly, and then resume in February, offering ongoing opportunities for both business and leisure travel between the Granite City and the City of Light.

This new route not only reconnects Aberdeen with one of Europe’s major hubs but also reinforces the city’s status as an internationally connected region, supporting its ambitions as a global energy centre and a diversified economy.
