Dundee FC says it has now submitted all necessary documentation to Dundee City Council for its Camperdown Stadium Project, describing the latest filing as the result of a lengthy engagement process with key stakeholders.
In a statement released by the club, Dundee said: “Dundee FC is pleased to confirm that all necessary documentation has today been submitted to Dundee City Council relating to the Camperdown Stadium Project.”
The club added that, since the original Planning Permission in Principle submission in February 2024, its consultants had “worked through a significant engagement process with all relevant stakeholders to ensure the most robust submission.”

The update marks another step forward in the long-running plans for a new home at Camperdown Park, with Dundee continuing to pursue a 12,500-seat stadium on the site. The project has already been the subject of repeated planning discussions, revisions and delays, with the club previously saying it had done everything in its power to move the process on.
Dundee managing director John Nelms said the club had “taken every step required” and that the next stage now lay with the council. He said: “Today is a significant milestone in our stadium development plans,” adding that the club’s expert planning team, architects and wider project group had helped deliver an extensive submission requesting planning permission in principle.
The official club statement also pointed to support from football authorities, noting that the Scottish FA and the SPFL had backed the Camperdown plans. That backing forms part of the club’s wider case as it seeks to push the development through the planning process and towards a formal decision.
