LEADING Scottish independent firm of chartered surveyors DM Hall is inviting offers over £550,000 for the freehold interest of a former care home in the popular coastal town of Largs, North Ayrshire.

Moorburn Manor at 31 Moorburn Road, is a substantial detached property with a private car park and gardens to its rear. With 33 bedrooms, 29 of which have en-suite facilities, it includes staff accommodation, a residents’ lounge, dining area and a kitchen contained over the ground and first floors with a passenger lift in between.

Anthony Zdanowicz of DM Hall who is overseeing the sale process, said: “The property has only recently ceased trading as a care home and may be suitable for reuse, residential conversion, or commercial development, subject to consent from the Local Authority.

“Our client is seeking offers over £550,000 for the heritable interest and all viewing enquiries should be directed to me, Anthony Zdanowicz, anthonyz@dmhall.co.uk or 07768 031297 or Adam Marshall at Sanderson Wetherall via adam.marshall@sw.co.uk or 07734 87112.”

DM Hall has offices across Scotland and earlier this summer expanded into the North of England with the acquisition of Hyde Harrington, an established firm of Chartered Surveyors based in Carlisle and Kendal.
