Tee times at in-demand Royal Dornoch are already in limited supply for the 2026 season.

But golfers from around the world eager to experience the celebrated Championship Course can book their places for next year.

The club sets aside more than 13,000 rounds for visiting golfers to take to a bucket list links which is regularly ranked among the finest in world golf.

Demand has continued unabated since global travel resumed after the pandemic, with the new £13.9 million clubhouse adding to the lure cast by the club as it works on plans to celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2027 and hosting the Curtis Cup in 2028.

General manager Neil Hampton said: “We have barely a tee time available on the Championship Course over the summer, and the vacant four ball slots are late in the afternoon.

“Fortunately, we are blessed with long hours of daylight in the Highlands.

“Of course it is great to be so busy, with golf playing a significant role in the economy of Dornoch and the wider region.

“The opening of our new clubhouse has generated worldwide interest and wonderful feedback.

“We are now in a position to provide facilities to members and visitors from home and abroad which match the quality of our golf courses.

“Royal Dornoch has always welcomed visiting golfers but nowadays it’s advisable to look ahead when planning trips to play here.”

Booking requests for 2027 are being taken by email only at [email protected] and these are being processed and responded to in chronological order.
