Klara Ottosson joins Delta-EE as an analyst supporting both the consultancy and research teams

DELTA-EE, the specialist new energy research & consulting company, today announces four analyst appointments as it continues to grow its provision of data, insights and strategic guidance to organisations navigating the energy transition.

The company has bolstered its analyst team, taking its global headcount to 50. Catrin Cooper joins to focus on heat, João Coelho will concentrate on flex and storage, Oliver McHugh joins the consultancy team and Klara Ottosson joins as an analyst supporting both the consultancy and research teams. With a wealth of energy experience including carbon management, sustainability and electric vehicles, the new analysts will be based in Edinburgh and London.

Andy Bradley, Director at Delta-EE comments; “At a time when the world is reeling from COVID-19, specialised data and deep insight has never been more important to make the right business decisions. The green recovery is one of the very few positive outcomes of the pandemic. At Delta-EE, we believe we have a vital role to play in ensuring that organisations can pivot their business models to prosper. We’re incredibly proud to be able to continue to add some of the brightest brains to our team to help guide our clients on this journey.”

The company has seen growth across all areas of the business as an increasingly diverse set of clients seek ways to pivot and transform their businesses to respond to the challenges and opportunities arising from the energy transition. While the decarbonisation of electricity generation and mobility has been high profile for some time now, Delta-EE has more recently seen an increased appetite for insight into the decarbonisation of heat, following its rise in prominence from a political standpoint.

This announcement follows the opening of Delta-EE’s Paris office in 2019. With more than two-thirds of its clients located outside the UK – mainly in continental Europe and Japan – the company’s growth is being driven internationally and Delta-EE now has team members located in five countries.
