Aberdeen-headquartered well technology business, Deep Casing Tools, is reaping the rewards of its ambitious growth strategy in the Middle East, with the announcement of a new multi-million-dollar order in the region.

In a deal worth US $3.05million, Deep Casing Tools has secured an order to supply the operator with 27 motorised reaming Turbocaser tools.

he Turbocaser is a high-speed reaming system that enables drilling teams to land casings and intermediate liners at target depth.

This order follows a $1million 16 tool order, placed less than a year ago by the operator, cementing the continued regional growth for Deep Casing Tools.

Neil Hathaway, Region Manager for Deep Casing Tools said: “This is a very exciting time for us, as we build on the already positive impact of increasing our presence in the Middle East. It is a key region for the company, and we’re delighted to add this award to the impressive order book built up in recent years with this important operator. We continue to gain traction in the UAE and Kuwait, consolidating our position in the Middle East and validating our leading-edge technology.”
