Convenience store and coffee shop business David’s Kitchen is to develop a 0.6 acre site for its latest outlet on Oriel Road, Kirkcaldy which will result in a £1m+ investment in the area.

Jonathan Reid, partner at Shepherd who acted for David’s Kitchen, said: “We’re delighted to have secured this location for David’s Kitchen and to be retained to secure additional sites for the expanding firm throughout east and central Scotland to add to its burgeoning portfolio in Glenrothes, Musselburgh, Falkirk and now Kirkcaldy.”

Founded by David and Lindsay Sands five years ago, David’s Kitchen, famed for its range of freshly prepared food, plans to start development on its Kirkcaldy outlet next month.

David Sands added: “We have worked with Shepherd for a long time and are delighted they have secured this site in Kirkcaldy. We look forward to opening a very innovative new store, focussing on food we make on the premises. We are also delighted to be returning to Kirkcaldy, where we have run a number of successful stores over the years.”
