AYRSHIRE football club, Darvel FC, has successfully extended its current sponsorship with local rail contractors, QTS Group, bringing the group’s sponsorship deal to a total of eight years.

The club has gone from strength to strength in previous seasons, including their iconic Scottish Cup win against Aberdeen at Recreation Park which put the club firmly on the map.

The current lead shirt sponsor of Darvel FC, QTS has agreed to extend its sponsorship for a further five years. This updated deal increases the shirt sponsorship of not only the first team but across the wider teams of under 20s, 18s, and 17s.

In 2020, the rail contractor became the primary sponsor of the club, alongside its current and ever-growing efforts in supporting local charities and sports teams, as well as its Youth Athletes programme which runs throughout the UK. The support for Darvel FC from local business, QTS, continues after a history of success sponsoring both Kilmarnock FC and Derby County.

QTS Managing Director, Alan McLeish said:

“We are delighted to be continuing our sponsorship of Darvel FC. The impressive sea of our orange signage around the pitch at Recreation Park and our logos on the players’ kits across the teams are looking incredible!”

“We are really showing our commitment to the club by extending our sponsorship further. It’sgreat to watch a local team grow and develop over the years and we are pleased to be supporting them for the next few seasons to come.”

John Gall, President of Darvel FC and Managing Director of Brownings the Bakers, home of the famous Kilmarnock Pie, said:

“As a club, we are hugely grateful for the continued support and commitment from QTS. They are a fantastic local business to be associated with and the new strips with their branding have gone down a storm with the fans and players.”

“We have some new, talented individuals joining our existing team, so we are looking forward to continued success for the club.”
