JACQUELINE Armstrong, the founder of Ohh!, the hygienist practice in Cumbernauld, has been given a European Award of Distinction by the European Dental Hygienist Federation (EDHE).

Six award winners were announced by Sun-star and the EDHF across a range of categories, with Jacqueline winning ‘Entrepreneur’.

“Winning this award provides a very welcome validation of my vision for standalone dental hygienist clinics passionately promoting health and the prevention of disease within the heart of our communities,” said Jacqueline.

Mayumi Kaneda, Director of the Sunstar Foundation said: “These awards illustrate just how dental hygienists can impact their patients and their health and wellbeing, with each winner demonstrating incredible excellence and achievements in their chosen field.”

“Whole health not just oral health” has always been Jacqueline’s mantra. Her journey to Ohh! has spanned more than 34 years in a diverse career which has included the NHS, the private sector, hospitals, the Royal Army Dental Corps, teaching and specialised roles and overseas charity work.
