An Aberdeen-based creative agency has made a number of key appointments as it continues to expand its business throughout the North-east of Scotland and beyond.

Hampton, located on the city’s Victoria Street, has added three new members to its team.

Chrissy O’Farrell has joined the business as a marketing account manager, while Steven Bedford has joined as a web developer. Kara Adamson has taken on the role of account executive.

The appointments come after a busy period of growth for the agency, which offers a range of services including brand development, design and print management, web design and development, marketing and public relations.

Originally from the US, Chrissy brings with her more than eight years’ experience, having worked as a marketing manager with an Aberdeen-based engineering group, after several years with a creative agency in California.

She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Business Administration, and a breadth of experience in marketing strategy, research, brand management and campaign development.

Steven has more than four years’ experience in web development, both in-house and as a freelancer, with a particular focus on developing mobile and business software.

He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Studies from RGU in 2009.

Kara joins Hampton from RGU having graduated earlier this year with a distinction in MSc in International Marketing Management. Prior to studying for her masters, Kara obtained a BA (Hons) Management.

Hampton owner and managing director, Skerry Read said: “2019 is proving to be a really exciting year for Hampton as we bring on new clients and continue to build strong relationships with existing ones.

“We are also growing our service offering to ensure we can provide a fully integrated creative and communications service.

“Upon taking over the business two years ago, I put in place an ambitious growth strategy. Investing in the best people with the right skill sets is a key part of that.”

Established in 1996, Hampton comprises a team of 19 brand development, marketing, PR, web design and development, and digital communications specialists.
