Consenna, the business consultancy specialising in sales effectiveness programs for global IT firms, has made a senior appointment to the role of Client Director as it sets its sights on a period of significant growth.

James Fitch has taken up the newly created role following a career spanning over 28 years at Westcoast Ltd during which time he held a number of senior roles.  In his new position, his primary focus will be on maintaining and developing key client relationships, as well as securing new client business.  He will also play a central role in reviewing the effectiveness of the team’s programs for those clients and deciding their future direction.   Commenting on his appointment, James said:

“Having been keen for a fresh challenge, I was fortunate to be introduced to Trevor and Paul and it did not take long for me to decide that Consenna is quite simply the best in class at what it offers.

“The growth that Consenna is experiencing is testimony to the team’s deep understanding of the channel and its needs, as well as their ability to understand, in-depth, the challenges of its clients.  The numbers speak for themselves and to be coming in as the day to day face of Consenna for many of our key clients is an enormous privilege at this exciting time in the firm’s growth.”

James’ experience at Westcoast saw him take on challenges in both the sales and operations parts of the business and he was most recently responsibility for a major realignment of the relationship between the two.

Trevor Evans, Managing Director at Consenna, comments on how James’ experience will help bolster the team as it focuses on continued growth which is anticipated to result in a further doubling of turnover within the coming six months:

“James’ mix of experience, which covers both sales and operations, equips him with a strong and unique appreciation of how relationship building and collaboration between teams is so often key to success in sales-focused scenarios.

“He has already demonstrated his enthusiasm for the journey that Consenna is on and is clearly committed to working in a fast-paced and continually evolving environment.  We’re delighted to welcome him on board.”

Consenna moved into new premises in October of this year as part of its growth strategy which has already seen five new employees join the team.  Along with James’ appointment, Lee Anderson has joined as Programme Operations Manager in the Renfrewshire head office.
