CMS has promoted four of its Scottish-based colleagues to partner level. They are among 54 new partners announced in the firm’s annual global promotions which include new partners in 29 cities around the world, reflecting the firm’s international strength and depth.
With women accounting for 52% of this year’s global promotions, the new Scottish partners feature three female lawyers and a male colleague.
This includes employment lawyer Abbie Harley and real estate specialist Rebecca McGladrigan, who are both based in the firm’s Edinburgh office. They are joined by Aberdeen-based colleagues Charlie Denham, from the firm’s Energy & Infrastructure Team, and Nicola Insley, a real estate and planning specialist.

CMS’s annual partner promotions take into account promotions that take effect between 1 April 2025 and 1 April 2026.
