STRATEGIC brand communications agency Clear Marketing has won a substantial brief with the CALA Group.

The agency, who has already worked with the premium housebuilder for 13 years, fought off the competition to secure the brief following a five-way pitch.  It is the first time that the CALA Group has staged a formal review in the same number of years.

The announcement sees Clear Marketing re-appointed as a primary UK marketing operations partner and tasked with ensuring the CALA Group keeps pace and appeal to the next generation of CALA Homes purchasers within a rapidly changing media and market landscape.

The agency, which has offices in Wilmslow and Glasgow, will continue to service over 70 developments in eight regions, in addition to central Group requirements.  The five-year agreement will see Clear Marketing introduce a series of new operational processes and efficiencies to support the property company in reducing its carbon footprint, commencing with the move of the CALA Group’s property brochures into a new online format.

Speaking on the announcement, Allan Walker, Director of Group Marketing at the CALA Group, said: “Clear has been a long standing and trusted partner of CALA for many years and the agency’s pitch demonstrated that to the panel, re-securing its place as one of our leading marketing partners.
Clear understands our business, our teams and the nature of the challenges thrown up in residential development and house building and plays a vital role in helping us to deliver.”

Managing Director of Clear Marketing’s Wilmslow office, Gemma Stirling, added: “CALA Homes is an impressive business, one that has over the last thirteen years grown from a successful, national builder of premium four and five bed homes to a billion-pound authority in its field, offering a much wider scope of product.  We’re incredibly proud to have played an instrumental role in the business’s journey and to have the opportunity to continue to do so, as the CALA Group looks to the future.”

Work on the new brief starts with immediate effect.  The business is managed by both Clear Marketing’s offices, under the direction of Stirling in Cheshire and Matthew Mitchell in Glasgow (Managing Director).

Clear Marketing was founded in 2000 and has over 20 years’ expertise working with household brand names and blue-chip companies including Hoover, Thomas Cook, Brother UK, Pets at Home, Topps Tiles, Mercedes-Benz and McArthur Glen to devise clear, creative brand strategies that deliver.
