DUNDEE-based airlift technology developer Cellexus have achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification.

This internationally recognised standard ensures the CellMaker airlift, single-use bioreactor systems and related technology are delivered to a high standard through an effective quality management system.

This achievement demonstrates a commitment to consistently providing products that meet customer and regulatory requirements, as well as to continuous improvement throughout the business.

Having developed the robust quality processes required to achieve the rigorous ISO 9001:2015 certification, Cellexus have invested in their current processes, as well as ensuring their processes remain compliant as the company, customer base and product line grows.

Cellexus partnered with Clark Boles from CB Associates for preparation and guidance throughout the audit process, and certification was awarded in February 2022.

Gavin Hands, CEO at Cellexus commented:

“I am incredibly proud of my team on this achievement, and a huge thanks to Clark from CB Associates. We have now established the systems we need to effectively serve our global customer base today and in the future as we approach new markets. As Cellexus grows, we can be confident that the quality of our products and our processes are ready to scale with us.”

ISO 9001:2015 is a measurement of quality management that is recognised globally, across all types of businesses and industries. The standard outlines best practice on a number of principles including a focus on the customer, motivation of senior management, process approach and continual improvement.
