LEADING real estate advisor CBRE has announced it has made a key appointment for its Retail agency team in Scotland.

Lewis Sadowski has joined the team as a Senior Surveyor and will be based in the Glasgow office.

He joins from CBRE’s Property Management team where he worked for the last five years. In his new role in the Retail team Lewis will work alongside Director Chris Humphrey, assisting with ongoing advisory roles for banking clients such as TSB and Lloyds in addition to recently secured occupier mandates, one of which is for fitness company F45.

Commenting, Chris Humphrey, Director in the Retail team, said: “It is great news that we can announce Lewis has joined the Retail agency team in Scotland. He’s not new to CBRE having worked in our Property Management team for the past five years, however he was looking for a new challenge whilst remaining within the firm. We are delighted to secure his appointment and finalise his move across to Retail agency. He brings an impressive set of skills to the team, helping us to enhance our offering to clients.”

Lewis added: “I am thrilled to join the Retail Scotland team following an enjoyable five years on the Property Management side at CBRE. It represents an exciting new challenge for me, and I am looking forward to seeing how the fast-paced retail market continues to re-emerge from the pandemic. The role is a fantastic opportunity for me to not only further develop my skills and my career, but also to build up my knowledge and experience in another department whilst staying at the firm.”

Lewis’s appointment follows CBRE’s recent acquisition of CWM, a leading independent retail and leisure property consultancy in the UK. CWM advises more than 60 leading retail brands in the UK and the acquisition will significantly strengthen the firm’s retail and leisure real estate capabilities across the region.
