Leading global real estate advisor CBRE has announced two new appointments to expand and strengthen its Project Management and Building Consultancy department.

Kyle Faichney joins the firm as an Associate Director in the Project and Cost Management team and will be based in the Glasgow office. Previously he was an Associate Director at Gardiner & Theobald LLP and held roles at Axiom Project Services Ltd and Faithful + Gould prior to that. Kyle has a wealth of experience managing projects for both private and public sector clients across various sectors including office, retail, industrial, hotels, life sciences and education.

In his new role with CBRE Kyle will initially be focusing on a number of office fit-out projects for CBRE’s clients.

Greig Paris has joined the Cost Consultancy team as a Senior Surveyor and will be based in the Edinburgh office. He comes to the firm from Amicus Property Consultants Ltd where he was a Project Surveyor, responsible for pre and post contract commercial management for major hospitality, leisure, energy and residential projects.

At CBRE Greig will be working across numerous sectors providing core pre and post contract cost consultancy services as well as enhancing the development monitoring provision.

Commenting, Mark Little, Head of CBRE Scotland’s Project Management and Building Consultancy team, said: “We’re thrilled to announce that Kyle and Greig have joined the teams in Glasgow and Edinburgh, bringing a wealth of experience from a variety of sectors and enhancing our offering to clients. They are both great talents who have already proved themselves capable of delivering impressive results. I am sure they will both be fantastic assets to the business.

“It is a very exciting time for the Project management and Building Consultancy team and 2021 is already shaping up to be very busy as we take advantage of the opportunities available in key growth areas such as low carbon energy and logistics.

“We have a pretty unique offering in the marketplace, no other firms offer the same scope of services with expertise across a range of sectors. As part of CBRE’s Global Project Management team, we have a fantastic and wide-ranging client base and that global mandate has meant we have been fortunate to win some exciting new work outside of the UK, operating from Scotland.

“We have targets to grow the team significantly by the end of the year and look forward to making more recruitment announcements soon.”
