The accolade recognises Buzzworks as one of the best companies to work for in the UK across all sectors.

FOR the fifth consecutive year, one of Scotland’s fastest-growing hospitality groups – Buzzworks Holdings – has been named in The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work for in the UK.

The accolade recognises Buzzworks as not only one of the best places to work within the Scottish hospitality industry, but one of the best companies to work for in the UK across all sectors.

To win a place on the 100 Best Companies list, businesses must employ at least 250 full-time employees and achieve one of the 100 highest Best Companies Index scores, as voted for by their team members,

Once again, supporting personal growth for every employee through industry-leading training and development programs, encouraging charitable activities during business hours and an honest, hands-on senior leadership team with strong values were all highlighted as top-scoring factors for Buzzworks.

Kenny Blair, Buzzworks Holdings MD, said: “Our talented teams are at the heart of our business and we proudly invest in learning and development for our people across all levels.

“We have always been a people focussed business and by appointing Carole Lamond to the most senior position in the business of People Director last year, we’re committed to providing a positive working environment for our workforce as the company grows.

“It’s humbling to see that our venue teams have scored us so highly to secure Buzzworks a place on the 100 Best Companies list for a fifth year running.”

On Friday 28 February, Buzzworks celebrated by participating in National Best Companies Day to mark its latest achievement and thank its 500-strong workforce. The creative Buzzworks Bakehouse team made a celebration cake and more than 500 cupcakes for team members and customers to enjoy.

Buzzworks manages a portfolio of twelve prestigious venues across Scotland in Ayrshire, Renfrewshire and West Lothian.
