OWNER-managed business specialists, Consilium Chartered Accountants have provided Corporate Finance and Tax advisory services to the shareholders of Hamilton Robertson Insurance Brokers (HRIB) as Greenwood Moreland acquires the Scottish firm. Continuing a long-standing business relationship, HRIB retained John Blair as lead advisor in the acquisition by Leeds-based JMG Group company, Greenwood Moreland.

HRIB is a firm of independent Chartered Insurance Brokers, operating across the UK with offices in Glasgow and London. Formed in 1981 they provide commercial and personal insurance across multiple business classes including property, financial, liability and motor insurance.

Graeme Robertson, Chairman of HRIB said: “The hard work, transparency and professionalism delivered by John Blair and his Consilium team has been invaluable to us during this process, both pre and post-completion.”
